Many people wonder what the ancient Egyptians actually looked like. This is difficult to answer because of the time that has elapsed and the fact that all surviving images are works of art, not documentary representations.

@shariefwat thanks for those uploads, its so frustrating tryin to learn about egypt when the pictures are historically inaccurate. i dont kno why people refuse to believe they are black.

I agree with you, all this shows is that ppl just don't take the time to education themselves. Discovery Channel runs shows all the time about egyptians and never says anything of the like about them being black. I think the most I've ever heard is them explaining why the walkways in tombs and the pyramids are so narrow and small and it's because egyptians were between 4 and 5ft tall. I feel sorry for the person that started this race issue, it really shows their weak character as a human being.

@AeroFunk80 its about truth. The slaves brought here were taught to hate themselves for their skin, to rob them of their accredation. Pretending like they ought not to care, seems to be more subtle racism. I applaud @gulmoh for stating what we all know to be fact. Egypt is in AFRICA..They were black. It was invaded by the Persians, who also invaded Greece. One of the Greeks who studied in Egypt was released for telling persia Egyptian science... Then they burned down the library... Why was that?

Egypt was ruled by Hyksos Nubians Persians Arabs....WE are talking about an extensive history. modern day Egyptians are predominantly Arab decendants, My grandmother was a born Egyptian, as were her grandparents, so im not "claiming" anything. Egypt today, is not the same Egypt of pre dynastic times.

the bible say that noah had 4 sons they were cush(sudan) mizraim(egypt) phut(libya) and canaan they were ancestors of people who bear their names. all bible dictionary say cush mean black and all bible map show that he was ancestor of sudan search on google. so if cush was black that means mizraim his brother was also black brothers must be of thesame race. mizraim was ancestor of black egyptians read genesis10:6-12 from the bible.
