That's nuts. Looks like a fun road - but man, the editing on this one is from a much larger channel. Superb job!

I live here. It sucks. It's sandy. There's too much traffic. There's too many intersecting roads. I miss the KY/TN/NC roads.

Ozello is not the tail of the gecko. Ozello is just the Ozello trail. the tail of the gecko is out by Wimauma and is full of loose gravel. it's more of a hidden Florida scenic road with more straight then turns. just some friendly info coming from a born and raised local.

Buena Vista Blvd through The Villages retirement community is about 14 miles and has around 40 curves. When you add the drivers from The Villages, it is more exciting than The Tail of The Pug“ through Ozello ;)

Ozello Trail generally has a speed limit of 45 MPH or less. The road goes through several small communities that appear out of nowhere, speeding through here risks your life and others. Some of the turns are 90 degrees practically or more, maximum safe speed on those are about 10-15 MPH, yahoo. I have personally seen a Harley sitting in the swamp with water up to the rider's knees, it was entertaining to watch the tow truck try to pull him out. Needless to say the rider and the bike got a ride home on and in the tow truck. This is not a road that you can carve up with high speed, it is more of a leisurely ride where you soak up the vast scenery of grass lands, palm trees, and inland water ways.

I had a blast heading out to Peck’s Old Point Grove restaurant towards the end of N Ozello Trail with the corvette club. Was a nice curvy cruise through the 67 turns out to the restaurant, and on the way back we split up in groups and straightened the road out a bit 🏼

Very surprised to find the road is actually one I've grown up riding. Nobody local calls it anything but ozello trail. I never imagined it would get blown up online like this, didn't realize it was anything real special. I also loved blasting down ft island trail just a few min away.

Pretty cool! I'm glad I stumbled on this. I was pleasantly surprised when I got on Google maps and found out I live 45 min away. I guess I will be taking a quick trip that way. Thank you!
